Ta Mike for sending me one of your early shows. Listening to it was like a breath of fresh air. I really enjoy the chatter and especially the music. How do you do it? How do you pick such great music? I'm cming down to London 1st week in January. maybe we could meet up. Have you still got that video you made when you visited Rocky Erikson? I remember it was so cool. I wonder if i can have a copy...mmmm...

I've known Mike Spenser longer than I care to count and I've been there from the beginning of the radio shows. It's good listening, good patter, great music and such a wide variety or goodness it should be on national radio. Long live Mike Spenser! Long may he reign the airwaves!

Hi Mike, I just saw your posting on Facebook about your "technique". I would rather listen any day to your show, with your rapping or without, instead of the boring and deadpan approach all the other radio dudes do. Your storys are amazing, youve done so much and seen so much and the music you play just blows every ohter radio dj away. You don't talk all the way through your songs so I do not know what that dude was on about. Sure you talk alot to introduce a song in the beginnings some of the time, but so what. i've learned so much from you about this music that i wouldn't change anything. Go for it and I am glad to have heard you raw before the big leap to the majors don't change you.

How many radio show's have a jingle that says something like "the best music" Mike, you actually play the best music. Diverse and brilliant throughout. Thanks man.

Everyone knows the John Peel was the best, sadly, not everyone knows (yet) that Mike Spenser is the next best.

Hell yeah! The TRASH CAN!!! In these days of mass manufactured and formulated pop rubbish on the radio, presented by personalityless yes men, the world really needs someone like Mike to wake things back up. Great music, entertaining presentation, what more could you want? No soul? No heart? Stick to commercial radio. Need something more? Have a brain? Tune in to the Trash Can. Thanks as always Mike.
